Groundskeeper/Landscape Maintenance Worker for Södertälje Municipality

Groundskeeper with focus on landscape maintenance to the Park Center unit Would you like to be part of creating attractive and well-maintained outdoor environments in Södertälje Center? We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable groundskeeper with a focus on landscape maintenance. You will work with the maintenance and development of the municipality's parks, plantings, and green spaces. The work is varied and includes both practical maintenance tasks and quality assurance work to ensure pleasant and sustainable outdoor environments. Job Responsibilities - Maintenance of perennial beds and seasonal plantings - Pruning and care of trees and shrubs - Weeding, soil improvement, and planting - Watering, fertilizing, and general plant care - Maintenance of green spaces and park environments - Participation in establishing new plantings and green spaces - Operation of machinery and equipment within park and garden maintenance Who Are You? Requirements: We are looking for someone who has: - Horticultural education, such as upper secondary or post-secondary education in horticulture, parks, or green space management, or many years of documented experience with landscape maintenance, perennials, beds, trees, and shrubs that the employer considers equivalent - B-category driving license. Meritorious qualifications include: - Experience with public outdoor environments or municipal park operations - Knowledge of plant identification and plant establishment - Equipment operation experience - BE-category driving license Personal Qualities: - Responsible and self-motivated - Thorough with an eye for quality and aesthetics - Service-oriented and cooperative - Flexible and solution-focused Other Information - The work involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions. - Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
