Nature Protection Agency announces a competition for National Botanical Garden Administration, Administrative Division park gardener position (1 position) for an indefinite period (full-time). Requirements for candidates: Secondary specialized or higher education in horticulture or natural sciences; Experience in applying agrotechnical measures in floriculture and tree cultivation, landscape, garden and park design and maintenance; Knowledge of plant protection products and fertilizers; Communication and cooperation skills; High sense of responsibility; Good computer skills in MS Office environment. Main job duties: Ensure maintenance of food, aromatic and medicinal plant collections, summer flower plantings, and territory maintenance; cooperation with Plant Germplasm Collections and Exhibitions Division specialists and other divisions, inspection, planning and execution of arboretum maintenance work; establishment of new plantings and reconstruction of existing plantings; training of tree crowns, trimming of hedges and ornamental shrubs; mowing grass on the territory using small garden equipment.
