Core Job Responsibilities
Performing specialized heritage conservation tasks with a focus on evaluating restoration projects within the territory and environment of cultural monuments and heritage-protected areas, including preparing written statements and heritage oversight; conducting independent research and documentation work; art-historical assessment of the heritage collection including its artistic works and craft elements; providing expert consultation and drafting professional expert opinions according to § 14 subsection 6 of the Heritage Protection Act.
Basic Requirements
• University degree in art history or university-level education in the arts – fine arts, restoration of artworks
• Basic knowledge in the field of care for tangible cultural heritage and its protection, as well as in the field of artwork restoration
• Basic knowledge of the heritage care system in the Czech Republic
• Independence and responsibility
• Good level of oral and written expression in Czech language, communication skills
• Knowledge of computer work
• Clean criminal record
• Category B driver's license
