Cogeneration Plant Manager/Director (Energy Sector)

Expanding the operations of the municipal SIA "Ventspils labiekārtošanas kombināts" (Reg. No. 412030001052), a new department will be established – a cogeneration plant fueled by waste-derived fuel. We invite you to join our team and participate in the competition for the vacant Cogeneration Plant Manager position. Work Location: Talsu iela 69, Ventspils, LV-3602 Candidate Requirements Higher education in engineering sciences (preferably in energy, thermal energy, or a similar technical field). Candidates with experience in operating, maintaining, and providing technical service to heat production equipment or cogeneration plants will be considered to have a significant advantage. Interest in and understanding of industry specifics. Experience in managing an enterprise or organizational unit. Strong management, communication, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility. Good computer skills and ability to work with technical documentation. State language proficiency at an advanced level. Good English language skills for communication with foreign partners. Category B driver's license Main Job Responsibilities Organize and manage daily operations of the cogeneration plant. Ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of equipment. Organize, plan, and manage the cogeneration plant's production processes and operational strategy. Analyze operational performance indicators and implement improvements to increase efficiency. Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, and environmental protection requirements. Coordinate procurement, delivery, and inventory management of raw materials. Lead and coordinate plant personnel work, organize training programs. Monitor compliance with the conditions of the cogeneration plant's Category B pollution activity permit. Prepare reports and cooperate with state institutions, partners, and service providers.
