Wastewater Control Group Manager/Leader United Water Quality Control Laboratory / SIA "Rīgas ūdens" SIA "Rīgas ūdens" invites a Wastewater Control Group Manager/Leader to join our team, who will lead the team and ensure a quality, timely, and regulation-compliant wastewater testing process. We will entrust you with: Planning, organizing, and managing the Wastewater Control Group's work, ensuring efficient resource and employee workload planning. Ensuring the performance of chemical and microbiological analyses in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards, and accreditation criteria. Ensuring quality control of test results, analyzing non-conformities, and organizing corrective and preventive actions. Ensuring the maintenance of the quality management system, internal controls, participation in audits, and laboratory method validation and verification. Monitoring laboratory equipment, measuring instruments, reagents, and materials circulation, calibration, metrological testing, and maintenance. Preparing technical specifications for laboratory equipment, organizing market research, and participating in the development of procurement documentation for laboratory modernization and development projects (for example, ICP-OES, HPLC, GC-MS, and other analytical instruments). Managing, developing, and motivating employees by organizing training and professional development activities. Monitoring industry development trends, regulatory changes, and implementing more efficient processes and analytical solutions. We expect that you have: Higher education in a relevant field (chemistry or biology, preferably a master's degree) At least 3 years of professional experience and experience managing employees Understanding of laboratory testing processes and quality management principles Ability to analyze results, identify non-conformity causes, and make informed decisions Good MS Office skills Well-developed management, communication, and cooperation skills Responsible, accurate, and result-oriented approach to work State language proficiency at C1 level We offer you: Salary of 2455 EUR (gross) Health insurance 5 additional paid days off per year Professional growth and qualification development opportunities Work location: 60 Dzintara Street, Riga We look forward to your application in Latvian (CV) and hope you will become part of our team!
