The Swedish Agency for Psychological Defence protects the open and democratic society and free formation of opinion by identifying, analyzing, and countering undue information influence and other misleading information directed at Sweden or Swedish interests. The Agency's primary mission is to lead the coordination and development of activities within psychological defense by government agencies and other actors. The Agency is led by a Director General and has approximately 90 employees. The Agency has offices in Karlstad and Solna. The capability development division works to enhance Sweden's collective capacity in psychological defense. Part of this involves providing support to public actors, media, the public, and civil society. The focus is on coordinating, preventing, and developing work, and on strengthening society's capacity in the short and long term. The division works to directly contribute to strengthening the public's resilience in psychological defense and is responsible for the Agency's training, exercise, and research activities. We are now seeking an Exercise Coordinator who wants to make a difference and contribute to continued strong development of Sweden's psychological defense. The position is located in Karlstad or Solna. Responsibilities The Exercise Coordinator role offers a stimulating opportunity to enhance capacity in psychological defense among various target groups, primarily through exercises. You will work closely with other colleagues in the unit to develop, plan, coordinate, and conduct regional, national, and international exercises. The work includes both internal collaboration and coordination of exercise matters within the Agency and externally with other actors in psychological defense. Collaboration can also occur with counterparts in other countries and international organizations. The role also includes administrative tasks related to exercises such as documentation, evaluation, and experience management. Psychological defense is in a strong development phase where capability enhancement is a central perspective, meaning that driving the development of activities forward is a natural part of the work. You will have great opportunity to influence the direction and scope of your work tasks. In case of special events, it may occasionally be relevant to participate in the Agency's operational work. Business travel occurs regularly. Qualifications This position requires: Academic degree in a relevant field for the position. Experience with coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of exercises. Experience from work within the Swedish crisis management system or total defense. Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have: Experience with collaboration between regional, national, or international actors. Experience with organizational development. Experience with project management. Experience with planning, implementation, and evaluation of capability-building initiatives, such as training. Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who is creative, driven, and has strong commitment to exercises and capability-building activities. You are accustomed to working independently and can prioritize your work. You have good communication skills and thrive in establishing and maintaining collaborations and contacts. The position requires that you can switch between strategic and operational work while maintaining a holistic perspective. About the Employment The employment is permanent on a full-time basis and begins with a probationary period. We conduct a security vetting with criminal record check in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
