Job Description
As a chief physician in neurointerventional radiology, you work interdisciplinarily and team-based in close collaboration with other specialties such as neurology, neurosurgery and neuroradiology.
The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of building and shaping the future of neurointerventional radiology in the Southeastern Healthcare Region. As a university hospital, we offer a stimulating academic environment with close links between clinical operations, research, education and development.

The University Hospital and the established research infrastructure provide good conditions for developing your own research ideas and academic collaborations. As section responsible physician in neurointerventional radiology, you have a central role in leading the development and long-term growth of the operations. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the future of neurointerventional radiology in the Southeastern Healthcare Region, with significant influence over the operations' direction, working methods and development.
The assignment involves medical leadership for the entire neurointerventional operations and strategic development work in close collaboration with the operations manager, colleagues and other professions.
Work Team
Neurointerventional radiology is an operation under development and this provides good opportunities for you as chief physician and section leader to take a clear and long-term role in the operations – clinically, strategically and as mentor and knowledge resource.
About You
You are fully trained in neurointerventional radiology with extensive experience and skill in diagnosing and treating neurointerventional conditions. You also have proven ability to supervise younger colleagues in the field. You have interest in education and research and enjoy functioning as support and knowledge resource for colleagues and other professions.
Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are attentive, clear in your communication and find collaboration easy. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and actively contribute to a good working environment. You have a positive attitude, see possibilities in change and take responsibility for your work with commitment and a holistic perspective.
