About Psychiatric Specialist Clinic for Young Adults
Psychiatric Specialist Clinic for Young Adults is a clinic that works across diagnoses with assessment and treatment of young adults aged 18-23. We work based on regional care programs with a broad perspective. Collaboration with family, close relatives, and with care partners, social services, job centers for young adults, and district administrations is of great importance.
The clinic is located at Globen. The clinic is LGBTQI-certified. We are organized in several multiprofessional treatment teams with physicians, psychologists, nurses, administrators, counselors, occupational therapists, care assistants, and rehabilitation coordinators. Our clinics offer a broad and varied care offering with different treatment methods.
Your work as a specialist physician/senior physician
As a specialist physician/senior physician with us, you are offered varied and stimulating work. You conduct assessments and investigations and are responsible for care and treatment. You collaborate with colleagues, care partners, and other actors and work based on each individual patient's needs. You actively contribute to the clinic's development. Documentation is done in the Take Care medical records system.

You have excellent collaboration skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You have an interest in development issues and actively contributing to the organization's development. You are flexible in your working approach and can meet varying needs. You contribute to a positive work environment, have an easy time collaborating and communicating. You have your own drive to work independently. The tasks require flexibility and a structured approach to work.
Furthermore, you are a licensed physician with specialist competence in psychiatry. Good computer skills are a requirement. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Area:
- background checks are applied before employment decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks at hiring.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional license. The same requirement is advisory for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
