Solna Psychiatric Clinic, serving the Solna catchment area, provides specialized psychiatric care for individuals over 18 years of age. The clinic is part of Psychiatry Northwest, a university clinic located in the northwestern part of Stockholm County's healthcare region.
We are a welcoming workplace with high expertise in beautifully renovated facilities at Sankt Eriksgatan 125 in Vasastan. The same building also houses several other clinic departments including the Borderline Unit, OCD Unit, Mobile Acute and Consultation Unit, and the Affective Disorders Unit. We are now looking for you to help us build up our operations at our new location!
At Solna Psychiatric Clinic, we work in interprofessional treatment teams divided into three base teams and one neuropsychiatric team. We primarily treat patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and neuropsychiatric conditions. We place great emphasis on assessment and diagnosis, as well as evidence-based treatment, offering a broad range of therapeutic options. Our teams consist of nurses, psychologists, social workers, and specialist psychiatrists. Teams meet in treatment conferences weekly. Physicians also have regular doctor meetings with collegial supervision once a week. We have well-established working methods and routines while maintaining good opportunities to influence how we work at the clinic.
Qualifications:
You are a specialist psychiatrist in general psychiatry with clinical experience in outpatient care. You enjoy working in teams and with evidence-based psychiatric diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:
As a specialist psychiatrist at the clinic, you are responsible for psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of our patients. You will be part of one of our teams, working closely with psychologists, nurses, and social workers at the unit. Your responsibilities also include supervising candidates, junior doctors, and psychiatric residents, as well as participating in the clinic's on-call services.
Employment Terms:
This is a permanent full-time position (100%), corresponding to 40 hours per week.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County's healthcare region:
- a background check will be conducted prior to employment decision according to SLSO's overall guidelines for background checks upon employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, in accordance with applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional credentials, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guidance for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
