We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in treating patients with psychotic disorders. The position is primarily intended to focus on this patient group, but depending on the needs of the service and your expertise, the work may also include patients within general outpatient psychiatry. About the Service Outpatient psychiatry in Dalarna consists of eight general psychiatric clinics that together care for approximately 10,000 patients. We work in a person-centered and team-based manner with high medical quality, good accessibility, and continuity for our patients. Remote work may be possible for certain tasks by agreement. Since the position is based on close teamwork and continuity in patient care, we see that you are clinically active at the clinic at least 50 percent of your working time. Working hours are weekdays 08:00-17:00 with flexibility options based on service needs. Job Responsibilities As a specialist physician with us, you will be an important part of a multiprofessional team where you contribute medical expertise and a holistic perspective in patient care. Your responsibilities include: assessment, diagnostics, and treatment of patients in outpatient psychiatry work with patients with psychotic disorders and, when needed, patients with other general psychiatric conditions referral assessments supervision of resident physicians and physician colleagues participation in investigations, care planning, team conferences, and development work standard administrative work. Qualifications Requirements Licensed physician with Swedish specialist competence in psychiatry. Strong Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. Good computer skills. We work in the Cosmic medical records system. Meritorious Experience working in outpatient psychiatry. Experience with or particular interest in patients with psychotic disorders. Interest in supervision and service development. You have good collaboration skills, are communicative, and appreciate working in multiprofessional teams. You are flexible, responsible, and contribute to a good working environment.
