We are seeking an Orthotist for Ottobock Care in Jönköping About Us Ottobock Care is one of Sweden's largest orthotic and prosthetic facilities with clinics in 20 locations throughout Sweden, and together with Ottobock, we are one of the world's leading providers of orthotic and prosthetic services. We serve patients through referrals as well as private individuals in need of prosthetics, orthotics, and orthopedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in the Jönköping Region operates in Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo. We are approximately 35 employees with diverse expertise. Ottobock Care currently has an agreement with Region Jönköping to provide comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic services. We currently work with all types of orthotic and prosthetic devices and collaborate closely with healthcare through team-based cooperation. About the Position With us, you will work together with your colleagues to improve quality of life for people with functional limitations by enhancing their mobility and independence. We work with all types of orthotic and prosthetic devices, from individually customized foot beds to orthotics and prosthetics. The foundation of our work is our collaboration with other healthcare professionals and specialist teams. This is a shared position where you will work as an orthotist with manufacturing, finishing, and adjustment of individual orthotics in close collaboration with patient coordinators. The position also includes support in the warehouse where you assist with shipping products, handling orders, and unpacking products and devices. About You We are looking for someone with an interest in orthotic and prosthetic technology and the manufacturing of assistive devices who holds a qualified vocational college degree in Orthotics (400YH credits) and/or practical experience manufacturing custom-made devices in prepreg, lamination, and thermoplastics. You speak fluent Swedish and have good computer skills. You have a strong ability to plan, organize, and structure your work while meeting deadlines. You can translate ideas into practical action. You are proactive and perform your work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks, driving your own processes, and ensuring their completion. You are solution-oriented and when problems arise, you focus your energy on finding solutions while maintaining focus on the goal.
