We are part of Region Kronoberg, which currently consists of approximately 16 employees. Through our agreement with Region Kronoberg, we provide orthopedic technical services to the region's residents. At our clinic in Växjö, we also operate a retail business focused on the growing privately financed healthcare market, where we offer shoes, insoles, and orthoses. Your responsibilities As an orthopedic engineer, you will help patients with analysis, fitting, and prescription of orthopedic technical aids with a focus on prosthetics. A common feature across all our regional units is that orthopedic care is provided in close collaboration with specialized care and primary healthcare. In patient work, you will be part of a team with physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will be offered varied work where the use of modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily operations. Who you are Educated orthopedic engineer Language skills in Swedish and good knowledge of English Good computer skills It is advantageous if you have experience working clinically with patients As a person, we would like you to be communicative, service-oriented, and flexible.
