In East Gothia, we currently operate at three hospitals: University Hospital in Linköping, Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping, and Hospital in Motala. We currently have approximately 45 employees, with 19 employees in Linköping. Through our agreement with Region East Gothia, we provide orthopedic care to the region. At our facilities, we also have shops adjacent to the orthopedic department that serve the growing privately funded care sector. Your responsibilities As an Orthotist Engineer, you will help patients with analysis, fitting, and prescription of orthopedic devices. You will work broadly with a particular focus on pediatric devices. Common to all our units in the region is that orthopedic care is provided in close collaboration with specialized care and primary care. In patient work, you will be part of a team with physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. On-call duties will be part of the position, where you will assist patients across all areas and age groups. You will be offered varied work where the use of modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily work. Who we are looking for We are looking for you who are a certified Licensed Orthotist Engineer. It is a merit if you have experience with clinical work as an Orthotist Engineer and/or if you have worked with pediatric devices. You have good computer skills and speak and write Swedish fluently. As a person, we would like you to be communicative, service-oriented, and flexible. You are responsible and have a talent for building good relationships. We also see that you are self-driven, creative, and thorough in your work.
