About the Role Securitas in Kristianstad is now recruiting security guards as needed. To succeed as a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their everyday lives. You do this through presence in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. In the role, you will, among other things: Greet and guide people on-site with a calm and helpful manner Conduct patrols and ensure everything is in order in the customer's premises Be attentive to irregularities and contribute to a safe and functioning environment Work closely with the customer's staff and be helpful in various situations We are looking for you who thrives in a social role where you can combine service with responsibility. The days can be eventful and filled with meetings with people, while night shifts are often characterized by a slower pace and focus on patrols and inspections. The work involves a combination of walking and standing for most of the workday, which can be challenging if you're not used to it. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in dealing with the public, but also understand the responsibility in your role and can be objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.
