About the Role As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this through presence in public spaces, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. The current assignment is in Norrköping. The assignment involves maintaining order and creating safety in enclosed spaces and public areas with a focus on being visible, accessible, and preventive in your approach. We are Securitas. Requirements Specification Requirements We are looking for someone who is a confident and stable person who can remain calm even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded when dealing with the public, but also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain factual when needed. Great weight will be placed on your personal suitability for the position. You have security guard training with a valid security guard permit Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good knowledge of English Category B driver's license The position is classified in a security class, and therefore a security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted. Employment is conditional on a approved security clearance. Based on this, Swedish citizenship is required. Meritorious You have guard training VU1 and VU2. If not, we will offer this training as the position requires both certifications, i.e., both as a Security Guard and Guard. Work Schedule Work is conducted according to a 5–2 schedule with duty every other weekend. You work a varied schedule where all shifts are included in the position. Work shifts start & end between 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 – 06:00 depending on which shift you are assigned to. This means you work either full-time nights or full-time days.
