About the Operation
Regionservice's mission is to lead, perform, develop, and streamline service operations in collaboration with activities within Region Dalarna, in partnership with the region's municipalities or through cooperation with external partners. We provide services in areas such as facility management, food & meals, logistics, cleaning, and laundry. Regionservice has approximately 460 employees and an annual turnover of approximately 350 MSEK. The operation is quality certified according to ISO 9001 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a full-time security guard for a temporary position from September 1 to December 31 at Mora Hospital, where we conduct patrols and maintain order around the clock, every day of the year.
The work requires both physical and mental endurance as well as the ability to quickly adapt to different situations. You will have many points of contact and meet different types of people every day. As a security guard, you need to be able to express yourself correctly and clearly when interacting with the public. This also includes awareness of your physical appearance and the signals you convey, as communication skills are an important part of trust-building work.
As a security guard at Mora Hospital, you work in a unique environment where the first meeting between patients and healthcare providers often takes place. Your primary task is to maintain safety and order for visitors, patients, and staff, while you are expected to provide professional and service-oriented interactions, particularly with elderly and vulnerable individuals.
The hospital's operations encompass many different departments and services, which requires you to adapt your interactions and demeanor according to the situation and environment.
The role also includes serving as flight service personnel at our helicopter landing sites.
Qualifications
We seek someone who is security-conscious, service-oriented, empathetic, and has inner confidence and a natural drive to help. You should be able to combine excellent service with a strong focus on security, and have communication and collaboration skills. The work requires that you are flexible and adaptable.
To be qualified for the position, you must meet the following basic requirements:
Valid security guard license
At least 3 years of work experience as a security guard
Good Swedish and English in speech and writing
Driver's license
