Operator KM8 at Stora Enso Skoghall

JOB DUTIES As an operator on KM8 at Skoghall mill, you will play a central role in the production process. The work involves monitoring machines and processes, primarily from the control room, but also regular rounds to ensure that everything functions as it should. An important part of your duties is handling traverse and truck driving, where precision and safety are essential. You will also perform sampling and quality controls, as well as contribute to improvement work that strengthens operations. The role also includes, in due course, participating in preventive and corrective maintenance work to ensure that the equipment functions optimally and to quickly address any issues. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and production. Experience with traverse and truck driving is very valuable, as is a willingness to learn and develop within machine maintenance. As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and have a strong safety mindset. You are flexible and can adapt to different situations and changes. Collaboration skills and a communicative approach are essential, and you thrive in an environment where you can contribute to continuous improvements. A complete upper secondary education with approved grades is a basic requirement, while post-secondary education in process or operations technology, automation, or similar is a merit.
