As an alarm operator, you work in our alarm center where you receive and handle alarms from both businesses and private residences. You have a central role in the security chain and often become the first person our customers, security guards, alarm installers, police, and other authorities meet. The work is carried out according to established guidelines developed together with our customers, and you ensure that their security and property are handled properly. Training takes place on site with experienced colleagues who support you until you are ready to take on the role independently. Placement and Working Hours: The position is located at the Securitas office on Kungsholmen and all work is performed on-site from the office. You work according to a rotating schedule spanning two weeks, where working days vary and can be scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. We are looking for employees for full-time employment with a start date by agreement. There are two different schedule options: 1. Fixed Night Shift Work takes place only at night. Work shifts are 12 hours long and work includes every other weekend. 2. Day and Night Shift Work takes place during both day and night according to schedule. Work shifts are 12 hours long and work includes every other weekend. The position also applies vacation spreading. This means that vacation is planned and distributed throughout the year so that operations run 24/7, every day of the year. Vacation periods are therefore scheduled by the employer. As compensation, more paid vacation days are offered than is common at many other workplaces. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school 18 years of age or older Experience in service, telephony, and customer contact It is meritorious if you have experience from the security industry and/or a similar role. You will use the computer as your primary tool, so we would like you to have good computer skills from before. As a person, we believe you are a service-oriented, calm, and organized person who can handle periodically high work pace. We would like you to have a great interest in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. Since you will have great responsibility in your role, but at the same time work very closely with both customers and colleagues, we believe you find it easy to work both independently and as part of a team.
