Operator Needed for Manufacturing Industry in Västerås

Work Duties Are you an experienced operator who thrives when the pace is high, the workday is active, and you get to take responsibility for keeping production running smoothly? For one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Västerås, we're now looking for an operator who enjoys working independently, managing multiple tasks at once, and being an active part of production. About the Role As an operator, you work in a production environment where multiple machines run simultaneously. This is not a role where you stand at the same machine throughout the entire shift. You move actively around the production floor and typically manage 10–15 machines, depending on which products are being manufactured and how much packaging and picking is required. Your task is to stay one step ahead and ensure that production continues to run smoothly. You will, among other things: *Monitor multiple machines and follow production *Check the quality of what is being produced *Pick and pack finished products *Restock raw materials and other materials in production *Notice deviations and take action when something doesn't look right *Collaborate with setup technicians and other colleagues in production Your Profile Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone with previous experience working as an operator in industry or production. You're used to a role where operator work means more than just running and monitoring one and the same machine. Work Schedule The production currently operates on a 2-shift schedule, but 3-shift work may become relevant in the future. You therefore need to be open to shift work. Day Shift *Monday–Thursday: 05:45–14:00 *Friday: 05:45–14:45 Evening Shift *Monday–Thursday: 13:45–23:15 About the Position You will be employed as a consultant at Posti and work on assignment for our client in Västerås. The employment is a permanent position with an initial trial period. Start: By agreement, preferably as soon as possible.
