Prototype Manufacturing Operator

Do you want to work close to product development and contribute with technical problem-solving in an international environment with strong customer focus? We are now looking for a prototype technician for our prototype department in Kalmar. In this role, you will combine practical work with analytical thinking, where you are an important link between development, production, and the customer. About the role You will be part of the market department and work in a small group consisting of 8 people handling prototype manufacturing of our steel and rubber laminate products. Your main tasks will be planning and manufacturing of prototype orders Handle incoming goods. Planning and preparation of orders. Manufacturing of prototypes using nibbling and laser machines. Quality assurance of prototypes using measuring equipment Preventive maintenance of equipment The position is located in Kalmar. The work involves frequent contact with colleagues, but since manufacturing takes place in a separate facility, some independent work is included. Initially, work is scheduled for daytime between 09:30-18:00, but we plan to introduce shift work (day/evening). Qualifications We are looking for someone with a technical background, preferably with experience from manufacturing industry. Experience from CNC manufacturing, stamping, laser cutting, and CAD handling is meriting. As a person, you are practically minded and well-organized with the ability to plan and manage your own work. You are a good team player, social, and have strong communication skills as the work involves frequent contact with colleagues. Positive, eager to learn, and flexible are other qualities we value highly. You have good computer skills, are practically minded, and master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
