Operator with Mechanical Drive Sought

About the Position Do you enjoy working hands-on with machinery and love to tinker and work with your hands? Then you might be exactly who we're looking for! We're seeking an operator for our client in Anderstorp who thrives in a hands-on role working directly with machines. As an operator, you will run and monitor machines within the metal industry. Your tasks will include setting up, adjusting, and changing tools. You'll perform routine maintenance and simple repairs, as well as ensure the quality of produced parts. The machines are not fully automatic, which means the work requires a genuine interest in mechanics and practical skills. We're Looking for Someone Who: Has experience in industrial work, preferably in the metal industry Is comfortable with tinkering, hands-on work, and solving practical problems Can read technical drawings and use measuring tools Holds a forklift certification and has experience operating reach trucks and counterbalance trucks Has a good understanding of mechanics Is thorough, responsible, and quality-conscious Works well independently but also as part of a team The work is conducted during daytime hours. We prefer candidates who live in the local area, as the intention is for you to transition to our client after the temporary placement period.
