About the Position Do you enjoy working hands-on with machinery and like to tinker and fix things? Then you might be the person we're looking for! For our client in Anderstorp, we're seeking someone who thrives in a hands-on role working directly with machines. As an operator, you will run and monitor machines in the metal industry. Your responsibilities will include setting up, adjusting, and changing tools, performing routine maintenance and simple repairs, and ensuring quality of produced parts. The machines are not fully automatic, which means the work requires a genuine interest in mechanics and practical skills. We're looking for someone who: Has experience in industrial work, preferably in the metal industry Is comfortable with tinkering, fixing, and solving practical problems Can read technical drawings and use measuring tools Holds a forklift license and has experience operating reach trucks and counterweight forklifts Has a good understanding of mechanics Is meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious Enjoys working independently but also as part of a team Work is conducted during day shift and we hope that you live in the local area, as the plan is for you to transition directly to our client after the staffing period.
