Operator in Heat and Surface Treatment

About the Position We are now seeking an Operator in Heat and Surface Treatment for an assignment with immediate start in Västerås. In this role, you will work in a technically advanced production environment with heat and surface treatment of components where high demands are placed on safety, quality, and precision. You will be responsible for several steps in the process, from heat treatment and surface treatment to overhead crane operation and chemical handling. The work is performed according to established instructions and procedures, where a structured work approach and a strong focus on safety are crucial for success in the role. Main Responsibilities Heat and surface treatment of fuel boxes Loading and unloading furnaces Monitoring and following up on status Cleaning, pickling, autoclaving, and embossing Overhead crane operation Chemical handling, including hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid Work according to applicable safety, quality, and environmental procedures Work is scheduled during daytime hours. The position is a full-time consultant assignment. You will be employed by Adecco and work on assignment with our customer. Qualifications Trade/metalworking education or equivalent work experience Valid overhead crane operator certificate Experience with overhead crane operation Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Very good Swedish in speech and writing Basic knowledge of English Meritorious Experience in heat and surface treatment Experience working with acids and chemical handling Experience with SAP We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
