Who are we? Vida Mörlunda is part of the Vida Group, one of Sweden's largest players in the forestry and timber industry. We are a corporation with approximately 1,800 employees and 27 production facilities throughout southern Sweden. We work with wood as our material, which makes us part of a sustainable and secure industry for the future. In Mörlunda, we manufacture structural timber for export, primarily to the USA and UK. Both women and men work with us, with various educational backgrounds and experiences. A common misconception about the sawmill industry is that it involves heavy physical labor, but we want to change that perception! The heavy work is largely handled by automated machines, which requires us to have personnel who monitor and to some extent control the machine lines. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an operator at Vida Mörlunda. We offer you a fun and independent job in a great team where everyone helps out and works toward the same goal. Our operators monitor and optimize the process in the sawing and planing line. The position involves shift work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a good ability to see and understand logistical flows. You are a communicative and service-oriented person who enjoys working independently and methodically. Above all, we value a positive attitude and a commitment to seeing opportunities and constantly wanting to improve. You appreciate order and organization, are receptive to feedback, and have good collaboration skills. Experience from industry, and especially from sawmills, is a merit. You must speak and write Swedish fluently. Employment type: Permanent position.
