Operational Procurement Specialist for the Defense Industry!

As an operational procurement specialist, you'll become part of Supply Support and be responsible for ensuring that planned needs are converted into deliveries that support production. You'll work closely with planning, production, logistics, engineering, and suppliers to create efficient material flow and minimize supply chain disruptions. The role involves broad operational responsibility where you handle both standard products and more complex, customer-specific items in an operation with high demands on quality, traceability, and delivery precision. Examples of Responsibilities: - Procurement of spare parts, repairs, and services related to technical components - Order placement and follow-up of purchase orders - Ensure deliveries according to operational needs and schedules - Management of sales orders and related administrative processes - Gathering and evaluation of cost estimates and quotes - Flow optimization and monitoring of material supply - Analysis and review of suppliers' cost calculations - Dialog with suppliers regarding delivery status, deviations, and improvement measures - Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient and stable supply flow You'll work in an environment where changes can happen quickly, and the ability to prioritize, follow up, and drive issues to completion is an important part of daily work. We're Looking for Someone with: - At least 3 years of experience in operational procurement - Post-secondary education in procurement, logistics, economics, engineering, or another relevant field - Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Very good skills in MS Office, especially Excel - Experience working in business systems - Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented - Good collaboration skills and experience managing multiple parallel tasks Meritorious: - Experience in procurement within aircraft maintenance, defense industry, pharmaceutical industry, or other regulated operations - Experience with export control or interest in the field - Experience with the IFS business system - Experience working in complex supply chains with high demands on delivery security - Knowledge of logistics, material management, or supply chain Personal Qualities: We believe you're driven, responsible, and enjoy taking ownership of your tasks.
