About the job
As an Operative Procurement Specialist, you ensure that materials, goods, and services are available at the right time and cost. You are a central contact point between operations and suppliers, working to maintain stable flows and accurate deliveries.
Your responsibilities:
Place purchase orders and ensure communication with requesters and planners
Handle delivery confirmations, discrepancies, returns, and credit notes
Follow up on delivery precision and drive dialogue when delivery issues arise
Contribute to optimized inventory levels and efficient material flows
Work systematically with follow-up, analysis, and improvement initiatives

This role is based at Rock Tools in Sandviken.
About you
You have experience in operative procurement, order management, supply chain, or logistics, and are comfortable working in business systems and other digital tools. You thrive in a role where structure, follow-up, and coordination are important parts of your daily work, and you understand how good data quality contributes to efficient processes and well-founded decisions.
We would like to see that you have:
Experience collaborating with suppliers and following up on deliveries, discrepancies, and lead times
Good system skills and experience working in ERP systems or similar business systems
Ability to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities in processes and workflows
Experience managing multiple activities in parallel and prioritizing based on operational needs
Relevant education
As a person, you are structured, proactive, and enjoy collaborating with many different contacts. You take responsibility for your tasks and enjoy contributing to improvements that create value for the organization.
