Our operating department offers anesthesia and operating services to various surgical specialties. We conduct advanced high-technology operating care and acute management of trauma patients. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides operating services within all surgical specialties except thoracic/vascular surgery. Our units conduct both elective and emergency surgery with operations around the clock.
With us, you will work in a dynamic operating environment where acute and planned orthopedic surgery is performed. The focus is on trauma orthopedics, but plastic surgery and hand surgery are also conducted on the same section. Linköping University Hospital is a national center for advanced burn care, which means that as an operating room nurse, you will also participate in burn operations.
We work with complex fractures, advanced osteosynthesis and flap surgery as well as microsurgery, where we sometimes collaborate across multiple teams, creating a stimulating work environment where cooperation, structure, and communication are central. The work is varied with shorter and less complex procedures, providing variation in your daily tasks.

Job Description
As an operating room nurse, you will work at the orthopedic section but with some introduction to other sections so you can participate in on-call work. This means your specialist competence develops at your home section, but you have knowledge of life-saving acute operations in other sections.

About You
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education in operating room nursing and have a special interest in orthopedic trauma surgery while wanting to maintain broad acute care competence.
You should have good Swedish language skills in speaking and writing as you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Great weight is placed on personal suitability and maturity.
The work is characterized by excitement and variation where your flexibility and problem-solving skills will be used. You are a curious person who wants to contribute to the development of the operation.
It is important that you enjoy teamwork and work well with others in a responsive and flexible manner. Furthermore, you are an engaged person who wants to help create a positive and good work environment.
