Our Offer At our operating department, anesthesia and operating services are provided for various surgical specialties. Advanced high-tech operating care and acute management of trauma patients are performed here. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides operating care in all surgical specialties except thoracic/vascular surgery. Our units perform both elective and emergency surgery around the clock. With us, you work in a dynamic operating environment where acute and planned orthopedic surgery is performed. The focus is on trauma orthopedics, but plastic surgery and hand surgery are also conducted in the same section. Linköping University Hospital is a national center for highly specialized burn care, which means that as an operating room nurse, you also participate in burn surgery operations. We work with complex fractures, advanced osteosynthesis and flap surgery, as well as microsurgery where we sometimes collaborate in multiple teams, creating a stimulating work environment where cooperation, structure, and communication are central. The work is varied with shorter and less complex procedures, providing variety in your tasks. Job Description A varied and stimulating job where you as an operating room nurse have a meaningful role in collaboration with colleagues in the operating team. We participate in a health-promoting project which means a 34-hour work week with full-time salary when working in round-the-clock operations. As an operating room nurse, you work on the orthopedic section but with some introduction to other sections to be able to participate in on-call work. This means your specialized expertise develops on your home section but you have knowledge of life-saving acute operations in other sections. About You We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist education in operating care and with a special interest in orthopedic trauma surgery while also wanting to maintain broad acute care competence. You should have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing as you will be communicating with patients, next of kin, and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and maturity. The work is characterized by excitement and variation where your flexibility and problem-solving ability will be put to use.
