On our operating room department, anesthesia and operating room services are provided to various surgical specialties. Here, high-tech advanced surgical care and acute trauma patient management are conducted. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides surgical care within all operating specialties except thoracic/vascular surgery. Our units conduct both elective and emergency surgery with operations running around the clock.
Neurosurgery in Linköping is one of seven neurosurgical centers in Sweden. We offer highly specialized operations to patients of all ages with injuries and diseases of the central nervous system. ENT performs surgery within ear, nose, and throat diseases with varying procedures ranging from tracheostomies to advanced tumor surgery. We perform considerable elective surgery, but a large portion is also emergency surgery.
The operating room department is equipped with, among other things, navigation systems, microscopes, and ultrasound equipment. We also have an intraoperative MRI suite where we perform various operations and treatments in the MR camera.

Job Description
As an operating room nurse, you work on the neurosurgery/ENT section but with some orientation in other sections to be able to participate in on-call work. This means that your specialized expertise develops in your home section, but you have knowledge of life-saving acute operations in other sections.

About You
We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with specialist training in surgical care and has a special interest in neuro- and ENT surgery while wanting to maintain broad acute care competence.
You should have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing as you will communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and maturity.
The work is characterized by excitement and variety where your flexibility and problem-solving skills will be used. You are a curious person who wants to contribute to the development of the operations.
It is important that you enjoy teamwork and work well with other people in a responsive and flexible way. Furthermore, you are an engaged person who wants to contribute to a positive and good work environment.
