Our Offer The Hand and Plastic Surgery Clinic at Linköping University Hospital, with the Burn Center, is part of Senses Center within Region Östergötland. The clinic provides highly specialized care in hand surgery, plastic surgery, and burn care and has assignments within international, national, regional, and county health care. The catchment area for regional care covers the Southeastern health care region with approximately one million residents. Operations are conducted in inpatient, outpatient, and day surgery settings and include approximately 18,000 patient visits per year. The clinic has three national highly specialized care assignments (NHV) in burn injuries, gender dysphoria, and facial nerve paralysis and has approximately 130 employees. Job Description As an operating room nurse, you have a central role in the surgical team and actively contribute to good collaboration with colleagues. We work patient-centered and place great emphasis on quality and patient safety. The work includes both outpatient work and day surgery operating care within hand and plastic surgery. Telephone advice and planning the surgical waiting list for the outpatient clinic are part of the nurse's administrative tasks. There is an opportunity for skill development and to have your own specialty area that you are responsible for. We offer individualized orientation to ensure you get the best possible start in your new role. The position is located during daytime, Monday to Friday. About You You are a licensed nurse with specialist training in operating room care. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with hand and plastic surgery. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, who wants a job characterized by variety where you can use your flexibility and problem-solving skills and can easily adapt to changed circumstances. You are creative and take responsibility for your work, are structured and thorough, and enjoy a varied work pace. We would appreciate it if you contribute a positive spirit to the group and have a commitment to helping achieve the operations' goals and development. You have good collaboration skills, listen, and communicate in a constructive manner. As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. You also need to be able to manage different IT systems to be able to perform daily care work.
