About the Position Professionals Nord is now seeking, in collaboration with our client, an Operations Quality Engineer. Our client is a global technology leader and a leading provider of advanced automation and robotics solutions. The business is characterized by innovation, high technical expertise, and a strong focus on quality and continuous development. You will become part of an international organization where technology and production meet, and where you have the opportunity to work with complex products in a modern production environment. You will join a team of four quality engineers and take on a broad role working both in projects and with ongoing quality work in production. In projects, you are involved early in the process and are responsible for ensuring the quality perspective is maintained all the way through to production. You will work with PFMEA, control plans, and validations, and collaborate closely with production, production engineering, and R&D. An important part of the role is independently managing quality work in projects and ensuring that the right activities are carried out at the right time. The other part of the role is more production-focused. When quality problems arise on the production line, you lead the work forward, bring together the right expertise, facilitate meetings, conduct analyses, and ensure that corrective actions are developed and followed up. You will also be involved in production stops and continuous improvement efforts. The position is on-site at the customer and work takes place mainly in the operation. This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at our client. The assignment initially runs through year-end with the ambition for a long-term solution. For the right person, there are good opportunities for continued assignments and eventually direct employment with the client, provided all parties are satisfied. Key Responsibilities As Operations Quality Engineer, you will among other things: Independently drive and be responsible for quality work in various production projects Work with quality tools and methods such as PFMEA, APQP, and control plans Ensure that validations, tests, and other quality activities are carried out according to plan Lead the work when quality problems occur in production and facilitate meetings with relevant functions Conduct root cause analyses and develop documentation and corrective action plans Monitor, analyze, and report quality parameters from production Initiate and drive improvement work, for example related to scrap and rework Collaborate closely with production, production engineering, R&D, and other quality functions Participate in and when necessary drive production and delivery stops Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the operation What We're Looking For You have experience in quality work within manufacturing, or relevant quality education combined with good understanding of industrial processes You have experience with quality tools and methods such as PFMEA, APQP, and control plans You have experience independently driving quality work in projects You have good technical understanding and an interest in learning about products and production processes You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English It is a merit if you have experience from a technically complex production environment and with Lean Six Sigma, SAP, or similar quality and improvement work. As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where technical understanding is combined with quality work, problem-solving, and many contact points. You are comfortable bringing together different functions, leading meetings, and driving work forward when quality problems arise.
