What you will be doing: Operational Technical Support Engineer • Developing understanding of troubleshooting and triaging of hybrid cloud (AWS) infrastructure • Providing monitor and alert against critical service architecture • Invoke the incident management process • Develop understanding of the interdependencies of the platform • Develop skills to drive incidents to mitigation • Collaborate with key stakeholders to help facilitate productivity • Contribute to documentation evolution The successful Aevi'ator: Junior Operational Technical Support Engineer • Foundational computer science knowledge • Willingness to develop an understanding of customer centric decision making • Awareness of the use case of tools such as GIT, Grafana, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, Zabbix, & Newrelic • Developing relevant practical programming skills (Python, Bash scripting etc) • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills • Ability to develop knowledge through workshops, SOPs and runbooks • Collaborative team ethic, operating within a shift model It is a bonus if you have: • Payment industry experience, particularly in a client facing remit • TCP/IP networking knowledge • SQL / Aurora knowledge • Android application knowledge • Linux Administration skills • English fluency is required, other languages are beneficial As an Operational Technical Support Engineer at AEVI, you will become part of a growing community of experts focused on solving technical issues and supporting highly available production systems. You will develop your technical skills and help support a critical platform ecosystem in a dynamic fintech environment. What you will be doing: • Developing knowledge in troubleshooting and triaging hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS) • Working in a 24/7 shift model: 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off (shifts may also fall on weekends and public holidays) • Monitoring and responding to alerts within critical service architecture • Activating the incident management process • Progressively gaining an overview of the interdependencies of various platform components • Developing the ability to resolve incidents and drive them toward rapid mitigation • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure efficient operations • Contributing to the creation and updating of technical documentation Who we are looking for: • Foundational knowledge of computer science / IT • Willingness to develop a customer-centric approach to decision-making • Basic familiarity with tools such as Git, Grafana, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, Zabbix, New Relic • Basics of programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) • Very good communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to learn through workshops, SOP documentation, and runbooks • Team spirit and collaborative approach It is an advantage if you have: • Experience from the payment industry, particularly in a client-facing role • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks • Experience with SQL / Aurora • Knowledge of Android applications • Linux administration • Fluent English is a requirement, additional languages are beneficialWhat you will be doing: Operational Technical Support Engineer • Developing understanding of troubleshooting and triaging of hybrid cloud (AWS) infrastructure • Providing monitor and alert against critical service architecture • Invoke the incident management process • Develop understanding of the interdependencies of the platform • Develop skills to drive incidents to mitigation • Collaborate with key stakeholders to help facilitate productivity • Contribute to documentation evolution The successful Aevi'ator: Junior Operational Technical Support Engineer • Foundational computer science…
