Dignus Medical has collaborated for several years with a small acute hospital in a unique setting that now needs to strengthen its ENT clinic with a specialist physician in otolaryngology. The operation is stable, well-functioning, and characterized by close colleague relationships and short decision-making processes. If interested, there may also be good opportunities to eventually take on a clinic leadership role. About the Position The position is clinical and includes broad outpatient care for both adults and children, with some surgical activity. Approximately 10 outpatient visits per day Common diagnoses in otology, rhinology, and pharyngology Approximately 50% audiological cases Surgical activity 1–2 days per week Common procedures: tonsillectomy, tube insertion, septoplasty, and FESS Facial skin surgery for cutaneous malignancies occurs Malignancies and thyroid surgery are referred elsewhere No on-call or standby duty We Are Looking for You Have Swedish specialist certification in otolaryngology (ENT) Have good clinical breadth and can work independently Have experience with both adults and children Have good collaborative skills and clear communication Meritorious: Finnish specialist certification in ENT What the Hospital Offers A stimulating workplace with engaged colleagues Modern equipment and good resources Time allocated for continuing education, courses, and clinical observation Work hours approximately 38–38.5 hours per week, daytime Monday–Friday Favorable terms and good work-life balance Opportunity to influence work methods, procedures, and clinic development For those with family, there are good opportunities for schooling and childcare.
