The Workplace Within the Disability Support Department, there are group homes, day activities, children's and youth residences, and short-term and recreational activities conducted according to the Act on Support and Services (LSS) and relevant authority decisions for each individual user. The department also includes social psychiatric activities conducted according to the Social Services Act (SoL). Our workplaces are located both in Treleborg city and its urban area, as well as some activities in the municipality's villages and countryside. Your placement will be at Lyckebo, a group home, located just outside Treleborg's urban area. You can most easily travel to and from the workplace by car. You will be an important part of an exciting development project at Lyckebo. As a Care Educator, you report directly to your section manager. The work involves driving and developing educational efforts and being leading in pedagogical matters. A key part is ensuring a systematic approach to user support, interactions, activities, and incident management. The role also includes mapping, mentoring, and teaching various work tasks in caring for residents, as well as overseeing the implementation and monitoring of methods and work practices. Furthermore, the assignment involves leading and developing teamwork in the activities and supporting and quality-assuring work with implementation plans, action plans, and documentation. The work also includes contributing to the activity's quality and development work in dialogue with the section manager, and staying updated on methods and practices based on science and proven experience within LSS. Based on the activity's needs for supervision and mapping, working hours may need to be adjusted. Qualifications We are looking for you with several years of professional experience in care or education work with this target group, and leading development and supervision within the disability support field. You can demonstrate development projects/initiatives in which you have actively been a leading/contributing part. You should be well acquainted with the legislation governing the activities. You have completed Social Pedagogical Work within the Disability Support Field (180 hp) or another behavioural science-oriented higher education degree that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A category B driver's license is a requirement. Beyond formal qualifications, great weight will be placed on personal suitability. If it becomes relevant for you to work within the activities, you will need to demonstrate: A valid extract from the criminal record register.
