Humleplan is located in the Humleplan area in Kolberga and consists of 6 apartments. As a care assistant at Humleplan, you work to provide support, service, and care based on each individual's needs and circumstances. You become an important part of creating security, participation, and quality of life for the service users. Your job responsibilities include, among other things: • Personal care and hygiene • Cleaning, laundry, and other daily chores • Meal preparation and support during meals • Medication administration according to delegation • Accompanying and transportation in the facility's vehicle • Planning and implementation of activities • Documentation and contact with relevant parties The unit involves solo work, and you need to be confident in making your own decisions within the scope of the assignment. The operation also includes certain physically demanding work tasks. You will meet service users with various support needs where challenging behaviors and acting-out situations may occur. Work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. The operation requires great flexibility regarding working hours. We are seeking an employee for a temporary position that extends until December 31, 2026. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Education as a nursing assistant or other equivalent education • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written • Basic computer skills and ability to document according to current guidelines It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education with a focus on disability, psychiatry, or another area that the employer deems relevant, and experience working in LSS activities. We also consider it advantageous if you have training in clarifying pedagogy, knowledge of sign language as support (TSS), and knowledge of low-arousal approaches. We are looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You are flexible and can adapt to the facility's and users' needs. At the same time, you are self-directed and comfortable working independently when the situation requires it. You have good collaboration skills, a professional approach, and high self-awareness.
