About the Position Årjäng Municipality is now recruiting an Area Manager for Personal Assistance. Job Responsibilities As an area manager within personal assistance, you are responsible for leading, developing, and following up on operations together with your employees, coordinators, and management colleagues. You have personnel, work environment, and operational responsibility and work closely with the daily activities of the operation. The role involves creating structure, supporting employees, ensuring quality, and contributing to the operation functioning in a safe and sustainable way. You will be an important part of building functioning teams, developing work methods, and creating good conditions for both employees and service users. About You We are looking for someone who is a confident, clear, and present leader with a genuine interest in people. You have the ability to build trust, develop relationships, and make others feel involved. At the same time, you are not afraid to make decisions, set direction, and create structure when needed. We believe you thrive in a role where you get to be close to operations, handle many contact points, and work solution-oriented in daily life. You are communicative, unpretentious, and have an easy way of collaborating with both employees, colleagues, and other functions around the operation. Qualifications We are looking for someone with leadership experience and who feels confident leading employees in an operation where relationships, structure, and collaboration are crucial. You have an understanding of activities within disability care and/or other areas such as elderly care or social services. You thrive in a role where you need to be both present, solution-oriented, and clear in your leadership. It is important that you feel comfortable working independently, making decisions, and driving matters forward while having the ability to create engagement and good relationships in work groups. We would like to see that you have experience with personnel responsibility, work environment work, staffing, or operational planning. Experience with change management or development of work methods is also meritorious.
