The Role of Area Manager Being an Area Manager at Samhall means being at the absolute center of our operations. You lead a group of 25-30 employees working on various customer assignments, and your primary goal is to enable your employees to discover and develop their competence so they can eventually leave Samhall for another employer. In your daily work, you also maintain extensive contact with your customers and ensure that everything functions properly. Through good relationships, you also develop the business and identify opportunities for more jobs for Samhall's employees. Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring our customers are satisfied is at the core of our mission as a company. That's why all efforts are directed at creating the platform for you as an Area Manager. What Do We Offer You? Here you will develop as a leader regardless of previous experience and build specific knowledge in several areas, including managing people with disabilities. You become part of a large company of 24,000 employees and are surrounded by over 800 colleagues throughout the country in the same role as you. You have a national network while locally you're part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to an Operations Manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is in an important and exciting period of development where you as an Area Manager play a key role and your perspectives are valued. What Do You Bring to the Role? As an Area Manager, you are operational, present, and able to make decisions with high integrity. Having experience from and thriving in an operation characterized by high pace and with people at the center is a requirement. We also know that you are comfortable in a leadership role and have good knowledge of tasks included in a managerial position. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: Leadership experience with personnel responsibility Experience working operationally with personnel and customers Experience building long-term customer relationships Documentation and system proficiency Experience from cleaning services (SRY/Insta800) is meritorious Upper secondary education B-class driver's license Since many of our customers require security clearance, you need to be able to pass a security check to be eligible for employment.
