Welcome to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. The Legal Support department is responsible for the agency's reconsideration activities, court proceedings, and case-handling-related legal support. We are now strengthening our reconsideration unit with additional colleagues. We are looking for you who, together with us, want to be a driving force in legal quality work within the Benefit Fraud Department. Investigations, Analyses, and Teamwork As a Reconsideration Officer, you safeguard citizens' rights by conducting a new, complete review of decisions where individuals have requested reconsideration of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's decision. You assess, investigate, and make decisions in cases. You make clear and legally sound decisions that address all claims. If a reconsidered decision is appealed to court, you are responsible for preparing documentation for the court's review. You maintain contact by phone or in writing. Externally, you have contact with employers, healthcare services, the Swedish Public Employment Service, municipalities, and county councils, among others. In your work, you actively contribute to continuous improvement of quality in work processes and case handling, and you support learning in the handling of individual cases. As a Reconsideration Officer, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have high security awareness. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. We are looking for you who hold a university degree or have experience and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent, preferably in social sciences or law have a systematic and thorough approach and deliver results according to agreement understand and effectively analyze complex issues collaborate effectively with others and share knowledge, experience, and information have good communication skills, both verbal and written support others in striving to achieve common goals. It is meritorious if you have in-depth knowledge of social insurance and administrative law have specialist competence or case-handling experience in one of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's benefit areas have worked for at least 3 years with one or more of the benefits housing allowance and care allowance/extra cost reimbursement have or have had a responsibility area alongside your main duties, such as team coordinator or supervisor.
