The products are used globally in areas such as water purification, metal production, power transmission, and other demanding industrial processes. The company was formed in 2025 through the merger of Swedish Permascand and Dutch Magneto Special Anodes and is currently owned by Altor. The company is in strong growth and is expected to more than double its revenue within three years. Elicron has factories in Sweden, the Netherlands, and China, as well as a partner factory in the USA. Learn more at: Elicron Responsibilities As a quotation engineer, you are responsible for ensuring a smooth flow from quotations and customer orders to handover to production. You work early in the sales process and gather, structure, and quality-assure information from multiple internal functions to create accurate and feasible calculations and production setups. The role involves an extensive internal network and close collaboration with sales, engineering, production, production management, and procurement. You work on both new projects and recurring quotations, often in deals with longer lead times where the product is developed together with the customer over time. The focus is on creating the right conditions from the start – technically, capacity-wise, and commercially. You also contribute to continuous improvement through post-project reviews, follow-ups, and development of work methods, as well as responsibility for master data in the business system. The operations are characterized by customer-tailored solutions, long-term deals, and close collaboration between sales, engineering, production, and procurement. The quotation function, engineering, and procurement are located close to each other physically, which creates short decision paths and close collaboration in daily work. You will become part of a team with high technical understanding where the role is seen as business-critical – the information developed in the quotation stage sets the framework for how products are manufactured. Examples of Responsibilities: Prepare quotations and production planning by calculating materials, time, machinery, and production setups Ensure that correct information is available from the quotation stage through handover to production Provide input to sales and customer teams regarding capacity, constraints, and commercial implications Find solutions to optimize order profitability in collaboration with production planning, procurement, and logistics Conduct post-project reviews, manage changes, and drive improvements in dialogue with internal stakeholders Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities College degree with relevant focus Experience from manufacturing industry and production operations Experience in production planning, cost estimation, or related technical roles Good understanding of the entire order flow, from quotation to delivery Experience with business systems (preferably Monitor) and understanding of master data (e.g., articles, lead times) Background as an engineer, production manager, or production director is advantageous Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and confident working with many parallel contact points. You drive your work independently, ask the right questions, and ensure you gather the information needed to make good decisions. You collaborate easily with different functions and adapt your communication based on who you're speaking with. At the same time, you are analytical, thorough, and have a clear business focus – you follow up, learn from outcomes, and actively contribute to improvements over time.
