About your workplace, the Municipal Office: The Municipal Office is a workplace where approximately 20 employees with various positions work with different administrations. The workplace is characterized by an unpretentious and cozy climate where it is easy to thrive! As Board Secretary, you will organizationally belong to the Social Administration's staff function, where you will have the Social Director as your immediate supervisor. The staff consists, in addition to your role, of a development manager, a business development manager, a medical director for rehabilitation (MAR), and a medical director for healthcare (MAS). In addition, you will be part of the Social Administration's management group, which means you will support the Social Director in her work and work together with the administration's unit managers. The group of unit managers currently consists of 7 unit managers covering various areas within care and services. Warmly welcome to us! 1 position(s). DUTIES As Board Secretary, you have a coordinating role where you are responsible for the administration of the board process and ensure that documents are handled correctly and with legal certainty. The work includes administering meeting documents and notices, writing minutes, handling incoming mail and email to the administration, and registering documents. You are in close contact with our elected officials and are an important link between the administration and politics. The role also includes conducting investigations within the administration's area of responsibility and monitoring and analyzing external factors that may affect operations. As part of the administration's management group, you contribute administrative and strategic expertise and participate in developing the administration's working methods and processes. Together with the municipality's other board secretaries, registrar, and municipal secretary, you also drive forward and develop the municipality's administrative processes. You work digitally throughout the board process using the municipality's case management system and prepare materials and presentations for the political level. In your role as Board Secretary, you will also be the Social Administration's editor for the municipality's website and intranet, and thus be part of the municipality's web editorial team. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have higher education with a social science background or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. We also see that you have good knowledge of politically governed organizations and understanding of the board process as well as knowledge of public law, such as the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act. It is especially important that you have an interest and willingness to help and support the various issues that come your way. We believe that valuable qualities in you are your ability to be clear, communicative, and flexible, and that in your role you are an important representative of the municipality and the Social Administration. You act professionally, with high integrity, and contribute to conveying the values and approach that our operations stand for. Because you will conduct investigations, produce texts, and write minutes, it is important to us that you have good knowledge of Swedish both verbally and in writing. You enjoy working together in a team, are thorough, self-directed, and can prioritize your work effectively. It is desirable if you have good system skills, and it is particularly meritorious if you have worked with Evolution and/or Lifecare. It is also meritorious if you have worked in administrative roles and conducted investigations independently previously. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
