POSITION DESCRIPTION: pedagogical activities, including lectures, examinations, teaching in seminars, exercises and laboratory classes in general foundation and specialized subjects including preparation of study texts and study materials, supervision of bachelor's and diploma theses in geography, creative activities, in particular independent solution of research and development tasks according to defined objectives. Participation in project solutions as a member of a research team in geography, publication activities - ability to present scientific results in written form in indexed journals (Scopus, ISI WOS) and orally at international scientific conferences, self-education activities, guarantee of selected courses. EDUCATION AND SKILLS: completed master's degree in geography, completed doctoral studies or CSc. in geography, professional and publication activities in the field, minimum 4 publication outputs in the last 5 years, Czech language at C2 level, English language at B2 level, user knowledge of MS Office, criminal, civil and moral integrity. What will be an advantage for this position? specialization in physical geography, experience from a foreign internship, activities in geographical projects, pedagogical education or pedagogical experience. WORK ARRANGEMENT: 50% position, employment contract will be concluded for a fixed term until 31.8.2029 with the possibility of extension. START DATE: September 2026/as agreed. SALARY CLASSIFICATION: salary grade A3, expected monthly salary after successful adaptation: 22-26.000, - Kč. Offered benefits: accommodation, company catering, language courses.
