Object Specialist – Business-Aligned IT Management, Stockholm Region A regional public agency in Stockholm manages a new administrative IT system for placing students in work-integrated learning programs within healthcare. The system has approximately 2,000 users, is jointly owned by two regions, and is used by both educational institutions and healthcare organizations. It will replace a legacy system in fall 2026 and continues to be developed and improved. You will join the central management team alongside a business specialist already in the role. Your tasks vary based on what is most urgent: user support and error reporting one day, release testing and training materials the next. This is an operational role close to end users, not a strategic one. Quick Facts Start Date: September 8, 2026 Scope: Full-time, 100% Location: Stockholm, hybrid arrangement as agreed, with presence at facilities and educational institutions Employment Type: Contract position through Lynqa; we handle contracting and invoicing Assignment Duration: Through December 31, 2026, with option to extend up to an additional 12 months Application Deadline: August 18, 2026 Your Responsibilities Handle error reports and provide support to end users at facilities, educational institutions, and via Teams Track and report incidents in the ticketing system Test new releases and work with system configuration and administration Create quick-reference guides, end-user manuals, and digital training materials for the region's learning platform Conduct training sessions, information meetings, and system presentations for end users Participate in projects, minor investigations, and sub-projects alongside the management team and partners Requirements At least 5 years of documented experience managing business-aligned IT support in healthcare Experience in the public sector as an object specialist or similar role: IT management, system administration, issue management, or other business-aligned IT support work Experience supporting operational IT systems with large user bases Experience with requirements analysis and testing related to system management or system development, such as acceptance testing or release testing Experience collaborating with both business and technical teams Flluent spoken and written Swedish and English Two reference assignments, each lasting at least six consecutive months within the past five years, with at least one in healthcare and at least one involving requirements and testing work Desirable Qualifications Operational second-level support experience serving users in systems with large user bases Experience planning and delivering training and creating user support materials for diverse audiences Experience with educational institutions, student placements, or work-integrated learning administration Experience with digital training materials in learning platforms Application Screening is ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
