Deliveries occur through projects, management and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works largely as a client organization since the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. About 90 people work within IT, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We are now seeking an objects specialist who wants to take an active role in developing our new ESM platform (Enterprise Service Management). This is not a traditional management role - it is a role for someone who wants to understand the organization's needs and translate them into functioning, smart solutions. We are now recruiting two complementary roles - an objects specialist and an IT specialist - who will work closely together. You will have the opportunity to enter at an early stage, together with a colleague in a similar situation, where you jointly build up working methods, structure and development around our new platform. As an objects specialist, you become the link between the organization and technology. You work closely with users, capture needs, design workflows and ensure that the platform actually creates value in daily operations. You will work in close collaboration with an IT specialist where you together are responsible for developing and managing the platform - from organizational needs to technical solution. The roles are designed to complement each other and give you the opportunity to together with your colleague shape working methods, structure and priorities from the start. The position is a permanent full-time employment with commencement by agreement. Place of employment: Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå or Örnsköldsvik. Work Tasks You will: Work with process design and development of services and workflows Capture and translate organizational needs into concrete solutions Work with forms, logic and user workflows Contribute to structure around working methods, processes and information management Be involved early in the implementation - and drive development forward after go-live This is a role where you don't just manage - you improve, build and develop Qualifications We are seeking you who: Have an academic degree in systems science and information security or equivalent competence deemed relevant Have at least three years of documented experience working with business-oriented management of IT systems and IT services in complex organizations, for example in a region, municipality or in the private sector Have worked with system management and service management Have a good understanding of business processes and how IT supports them Have a B-class driving license Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in spoken and written form It is meritorious if you: Have training and knowledge in ITIL, pm3, CMDB, ITSM or ESM tools Have experience with process development or service design Have experience working close to operations in transition To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Self-directed Collaboration skills Structured Initiative-taking Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
