JOB DUTIES In January 2026, we opened the doors to our new preschool Lillskogen. Lillskogen is a preschool built for eight traditional departments that we have organized into four twin departments: Curiosity, Playfulness, Possibility, and Creativity. At Lillskogen, we have children ages 1-4. As a preschool teacher at Lillskogen, you have seven preschool teacher colleagues in addition to our knowledgeable childcare workers and childcare assistants. In our organization, we also have the roles of atelier pedagogue and outdoor pedagogue. We have committed to a project-based approach where our offerings and meeting places are connected through processes. We adults listen to what children express and their interests. Together with the children, we build meaningful content based on the curriculum's values, mission, goals, and guidelines. To create a connecting thread throughout the education, we use curiosity questions/deepening questions. We want Lillskogen to be a place where both children and adults look forward to coming. It is everyone's individual responsibility to contribute, and together we can make it happen. Now we are looking for you—a curious, engaged, confident, and professional preschool teacher for our twin department Curiosity. In the Curiosity department, children are ages 1-2. We expect you to have clear and confident self-leadership. You take responsibility for both leading education and instruction in the child group together with your colleagues and for gathering and leading your entire team. We place great emphasis on collaboration and have created a robust organization that is solution-focused and always has the child's best interests at its center. With us, you get stimulating and developing work with and for the children. You get both individual and shared time for systematic quality work. Together with your team, you lead planning, documentation, and reflection, and you analyze and follow up on your collective work. QUALIFICATIONS • You are a licensed preschool teacher or have applied for preschool teacher licensing. • As a person, you work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. • You take active initiative in social settings, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships. • You adapt and find win-win solutions through a straightforward focus on the common goal. • You stay current in your profession. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Immediately or by agreement.
