Description:

Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Would you like to help create a safe, educational, and engaging environment for our students during school hours and in leisure time? If so, you might be the person we're looking for. We are seeking substitute teachers for school and after-school programs. You ideally have experience working in a school or after-school setting, but it is not required. Both those with relevant education and those without formal qualifications are welcome to apply. You will work at different schools. During shorter periods, you may be part of several work teams. Therefore, an important quality is that you work well and collaborate easily with others. During the school day, you will work as a teacher or teaching assistant in preschool and grades 1-5, filling in for regular staff during absences and when there is extra need at certain times. Before and after school hours, you will work at the after-school center. Both school and after-school programs include outdoor education, so it's a big plus if you enjoy being outdoors. About Us Tellusskolan Robinson has been in Enköping since 1997 and has been run by Tellusskolan AB since spring 2020. The organization includes three units—Fanna, Husberg, and Svedia—each with 84-87 students, as well as a grades 6-9 school, Vårfru, with approximately 190 students. Our schools are characterized by safety, closeness, and strong pedagogical commitment. Working at Robinson Robinson's educational profile rests on three pillars: Outdoor Pedagogy Experience-Based Learning Robinson's Roots—our values-based work Our fundamental idea is that learning becomes lasting when it is based on experiences. Nature and outdoor life are therefore a natural part of instruction and are used as a pedagogical tool to strengthen learning, physical activity, and well-being. We strive for an engaging and meaningful school where student learning is central. Our values are built on the conviction that all children are good and do their best according to their abilities. All staff at Robinson work together to create safety, trust, and an inclusive school environment—both during school and leisure time. Requirements To work as a substitute teacher at a school, you must meet the following requirements: You must be at least 18 years old. You must be able to read and speak Swedish. It is an advantage if you have a car and a driver's license, as our schools are spread throughout Enköping. Before employment, you must present a certificate from the police criminal record register applicable to preschools and schools. The certificate must not be older than one year. You can order a register certificate from the police website. The register certificate should not be sent with your application but should be presented at the time of the interview.
