The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is a specialized unit within forensic psychiatry that cares for both women and men, where the majority of our patients have been placed in court-ordered care. We also accept patients from the correctional system who are in need of psychiatric care and treatment. We serve all of Sweden as our catchment area. The clinic is divided into different units with departments that have different specializations, which provides excellent opportunities to work in an area that you find particularly interesting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse at the clinic, you are responsible for the nursing care of a number of patients. You work as part of a team with various professionals such as nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, special educators, and treatment educators whose mission is to support and motivate patients in their care process. Leadership is a major part of the daily work as a nurse, and sometimes cross-departmental work is required where your efforts are needed in other departments than your own.
What can forensic psychiatry offer you?
We offer you challenging tasks and excellent opportunities for development in your role as a nurse. You will also have the opportunity for further education.
We invest extra in our nurses. In addition to your base salary, you will receive a supplement of 2,000 kr. If you are happy with us, the supplement increases to 3,000 kr after two years of employment. The supplement applies to nurses within the Forensic Psychiatric Clinic in Region Kronoberg.
In addition, you will receive a bonus on earned on-call supplements, which means we provide 50% extra in on-call compensation on the on-call supplement you have earned during the year.
QUALIFICATIONS
About you
• You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in psychiatry
• Further education in psychiatry and/or training in CBT, MI, and ESL is meritorious
• Training in and experience with low-stimulation approaches is also meritorious
• As a person, you are clear, confident, and have a positive attitude
• You work well with others and have a good view of people
• You are also creative and have the ability to see solutions and possibilities in different situations
