As a project coordinator, you will become part of the Kompetenskompassen STEM project and Trade and Industry Chamber Mittsverige, a business organization working to strengthen companies' conditions in Västernorrland and Jämtland/Härjedalen. You will join a cohesive team of engaged colleagues working on issues related to workforce supply, infrastructure, and international trade. The Kompetenskompassen STEM project works to strengthen the connection between education and working life, particularly in healthcare and technology (STEM). Through collaboration between schools, employers, universities, municipalities, and other stakeholders, we want to create better conditions for the region's future workforce supply. As a project coordinator, you will become an important part of this work. You will work both operationally and strategically together with the project team and our partners. The role offers great variety, many contact points, and opportunities to influence and develop working methods over time. Your main areas of work Labor market knowledge and activities for young people Together with colleagues, you will meet students in primary school, secondary school, and post-secondary education to discuss working life, educational paths, and future opportunities in the region. Through lectures, study visits, and activities, you will inspire young people to engage in their future and create a clearer connection between education and working life. Collaboration with employers and educational actors You will work closely with employers, schools, universities, learning centers, and municipalities to create relationships and develop collaboration. You will become an important link between education and working life where you identify needs, build networks, and create opportunities for future workforce supply in the region. Events, networks, and project activities You will plan, coordinate, and implement activities such as networking meetings, workshops, Welcome Days, and other meeting places between young people and working life. The role involves both strategic and operational work where you get to use your creativity, collaboration skills, and organizational ability to drive activities from idea to implementation and follow-up. Development and methodology work The project is development-oriented and involves you and the project team testing, developing, and improving working methods and approaches. You contribute to creating long-term structures and methods that can continue even after the project ends. Who are you? We also believe you: Are creative and development-oriented Have good collaboration skills both internally and externally Are communicative and confident in social settings Have the ability to build trust and create engagement Are flexible and enjoy working in a project where no two weeks are exactly the same Qualifications At least secondary school education Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Driver's license (category B) is required Experience with project work, events, education, collaboration, or working with young people is advantageous. Additional information: Scope This is a fixed-term project employment through April 30, 2029 on a full-time basis within the Kompetenskompassen STEM project. Work location We are seeking one person based in Örnsköldsvik and one person based in Sundsvall.
