We now need a new assistant for our great team supporting our client. We're looking for someone willing to work 80%. Our client is a young woman, 24 years old, living in her own apartment. She has an autism diagnosis, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. She is cheerful, positive, and loves life. She enjoys planning activities both at home and outdoors. She communicates through speech, pictures, schedules, sign language, and body language. We're looking for someone who enjoys being active and who brings a lot of themselves to the role. You need to be flexible and have good collaborative skills, as you will always work together with another assistant/colleague. It's beneficial if you are playful and somewhat theatrical, as this creates a good relationship with our client. You will work mixed hours, including both overnight shifts and daytime shifts. It's important that you can step in for extra hours when needed and are able to switch shifts when required for staffing purposes. Beyond the above, it's especially important that you have good self-awareness, are confident in yourself, are attentive, take responsibility, and collaborate well with everyone you meet. You are flexible, open-minded, and see opportunities rather than obstacles.
