We're Looking for a Logistics Manager!

In your role as Logistics Manager, you will have overall responsibility for incoming, outgoing, and internal transports. You will also be responsible for booking these transports. You will also ensure that received goods are entered into Monitor and unloaded at the designated location. In addition to the duties described above, your responsibilities will also include: Incoming and receiving inspections Monitoring orders with subcontractors such as powder coaters and painters Picking up finished items and assisting production with the correct materials Packing outgoing goods and ordering external transports in accordance with company policy Inventory management Complaints handling (excluding registration and follow-up) Sending reminders to suppliers and informing the team internally if the schedule is adjusted due to changes in delivery time. Qualifications: You should have a few years of prior experience from similar positions and possess strong knowledge of Monitor. As a person, you should be proactive and communicative in order to coordinate both transports and production. We also value your willingness to develop yourself within the role as well as improve the service so that we continuously strive for the most efficient workflow. Requirements for the position are a valid driver's license (category B) and forklift certifications A and B. Material knowledge in steel and metals is a merit. About Stockholm Waterjet: Stockholm Waterjet was founded in 1989 and is the core company of the Steelex Group. We primarily work with contract manufacturing in the metal processing industry with CNC-controlled water cutting as our specialty. Today we are a complete mechanical workshop. With over 30 years in the industry, we have the experience, knowledge, and capacity required to call ourselves a complete supplier within metal processing. Our business idea is to help our customers from idea to finished product – our department for prototype manufacturing and product development works directly with the various production departments and can thus easily follow the process and keep you updated throughout. Since 2025, Intermekano is also part of Stockholm Waterjet, and at our facility in Bålsta we manufacture both tools, prototypes, and component parts.
