JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a dedicated and caring team member for our dementia care homes Asken and Opalen at Solbacka in central Oskarshamn.
Asken and Opalen are two dementia care homes with a total of 18 places, divided into 9 places per unit. The homes work closely together and you will be employed at both units.
With us, the individual and their wellbeing are always in focus. We work based on the values of the Social Services Act and strive to create a safe, meaningful, and individually adapted everyday life for the people living with us.
This is a temporary position running until June 11, 2027.
As a team member at Asken and Opalen, you will work with approved care and service initiatives according to the Social Services Act (SoL) as well as health and medical care initiatives according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL).
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for providing high-quality care, nursing, and service to the residents. The work includes, among other things:
• Providing individually adapted care and support in daily life
• Contributing to daily activities and rehabilitation based on the individual's conditions and needs
• Working according to established implementation plans
• Performing delegated medical tasks from licensed personnel
• Contributing to operational development, quality assurance, and skills development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• Experience working with people with dementia
• Good ability to collaborate and build good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues.
It is a merit if you are also trained as a nursing assistant or have other education that the employer finds equivalent.
We are looking for you who have the ability to see both the bigger picture and the individual's needs. You are secure, responsible, and have a respectful approach. You enjoy working in a team and contribute to a positive work environment through your commitment, creativity, and good collaboration.
